Wood-fired stoneware mug fired in a Philosopher’s Fast Fire kiln. The wood ash has settled onto the surface during the firing, creating natural ash patterns, marks and flame lickings across the mug.
Each piece comes out slightly different depending on where it sits in the kiln and how the flames move around it. No two mugs are quite the same.
